Aim
To help the leadership of Harvest Ministries understand the practical and spiritual purpose for existing, and to help create a business structure for the CORE.

Rationale
We are told in Acts 2:42-47, that the apostles devoted themselves to the teaching of God’s Word, to prayer, fellowship, and evangelism. As an undivided body of believers, these four basic foundations are critical in maintaining a successful, ongoing ministry, as evidenced in the early church. Therefore, Harvest Ministries consists of a team of spiritual leaders united with the purpose of discipling our present church members and reaching out to the Belleville area with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Objectives

• To help all members involved in leadership at Harvest Ministries have a greater understanding and appreciation of “The Ministry Team”.
• To help leaders understand where we are headed as a team.
• To put the vision in writing so as a team we can set attainable goals that can be measured on a consistent basis.

Vision Statement
To grow numerically and spiritually in balance as each member perceives their peer friendships as having the purpose of bringing them closer to Christ and to an environment where they will experience a relevant demonstration of the Christian community.
